SAT试卷结构与试题难度解析

一、SAT考试的组成

　　SAT是英文Scholastic Assessment Test的缩写，中文名称为学术能力评估考试,由总部位于美国新泽西州普林斯顿市的美国教育考试服务中心（Educational Testing Service，简称ETS)举办。SAT成绩是世界各国高中生申请美国学习及奖学金的重要参考。

　　SAT考试分为两部分：SATⅠ推理测试(Reasoning Test)和SATⅡ(Subject Tests)专项测试。SAT1主要测验考生的写作、阅读和数学能力；SAT2涉及数学、物理、化学及生物等科目。一般中国高中生申请进入美国本科学校只需参加SATⅠ考试

　　SATI 考试由3部分组成，Critical reading, Writing Skills和Mathematics,每部分800分，满分2400分。具体的题目数量分配如下表

　　SATⅠ共有10个section以上3部分各包含3个section。另外，每次考试还有一个加试环节，即“experimental section”，内容可来自Critical reading, Writing Skill或Mathematics任意一项（Essay Writing除外）。

　　下表是整个SAT I考试流程的示例，每次考试只有Section 1 和Section 10 的内容固定。

　　二、SAT的难度

　　SAT考试并非是针对国际学生的英语语言测试，而是针对美国本土中学生大学入学的学术能力考试。中国高中生用非母语与美国学生竞争，难度非常大。SAT考试词汇量要求在10000以上，题量较大，考试又历时4小时5分钟（包括两次10分钟的休息），是对考生英语水平，学术水平，心理素质，身体状态的综合考验。因此考SAT的学生，必须要有三个特征：其一，有毅力，能够在短期内突破单词大关，并坚持复习，因为单词量是SAT考试的基础；其二，逻辑清晰，思维敏锐，能够快速熟悉SAT考试的出题规律，并学以致用；其三，独立，有主见，不被其他参加高考或同样准备出国的同学影响，坚持实行自己的申请计划。其四，内心坚强，能够承担申请失败的风险。
